Ari Lennox

Courtney Shanade Salter, also called Ari Lennox, a Washington, D.C.-based American singer/songwriter, was signed as Dreamville Records' debut female singer on Dreamville Records by J. Cole. The first single, Pho which was released on 21 October 2016 was released on Dreamville Records. Her career began to grow in fame. Shea Butter Baby, her debut album, was released on the 7th of May, 2019. Ari Lennox has released her music online since 2012, with the release of her debut mixtape "Five Finger Discount" and her EP Ariography. In 2014, she continued to release her music on the internet including her independently launched single Bound. She was featured in Omen's Elephant Eyes, in Sweat It Out on the 21st of July, 2015. J. Cole asked her to join him in collaboration for Rihanna's reference. In the following season, the music was played throughout Dreamville. On the 8th of December, it was confirmed that she had been contracted to Dreamville Records. In the record Revenge of the Dreamers II She was on the track Backseat with Cozz. The singer released Pho, her debut EP on the 21st of October the 21st of October, 2016. Ari Lennox later appeared on J. Cole's track Change and was an opener on the 4 Your Eyez Only Tour in 2017. In 2018, she performed as a guest on two songs, with the EarthGang's Nothing but the Best song as well as Bas's Icarus. Ari Lennox, on the 16th July, 2018 was the first artist to release her single "Whipped Cream" from Shea Butter Baby. A music video to accompany it was released on September 5th. In November, she dropped two singles titled 40 Shades of Choke and Grampa. In November, 13, she released two additional singles entitled One and Pdigree. One and Pdigree. She was featured with Cole in her Creed II Soundtrack on Shea Butter Baby, on November 16, and then released the song as a solo single to her first album. The song, released with a video on YouTube February 20, 2019 has been viewed over three million times over the first seven days. The singer was a supporting artist for 6LACK in their From East Atlanta With Love Tour during December 2018.
